Working woman again

As of today I now have a job again! I am an Avon Representative! So let me know if you need any of our product!! My Aunt has been the Avon seller for the longest time and decided she didn't want to do it anymore, so I am taking over. I am realizing though that I really need to get out and get some clients if I want to be able to MAKE any amount of money. Right now I have my family and friends, but I can't depend on them all of the time. I have my first sales meeting this Wednesday, so that should be fun.

3-25-06

Last night we went to the movies and saw Failure to Launch with Matthew McCaunahey and Sarah Jessica Parker. It was a very cute movie. We went with another couple and of course both men thought it was a "chick flick". I suppose it was, but as much as they would hate to admit it.....they liked it as much as me and my friend. I definitely reccomend it. After the movie we had dinner. It was really nice!

The Mr. Potato Head Glasses

I think at age two Dylan is already wishing he wore glasses. It's the funniest thing.....When he got up from his nap this afternoon he decided he wanted to read a book while I was online for a few. So he went and got a book and the bag that has his Mr. Potato Head in it. He needed me to open the bag (it's a ziplock) so he brought it to me. He dug through the bad to find the Mr. Potato Head glasses. Most of us know how tiny those are right? Well, he sat down on the floor next to my chair and I looked down at him and he has the glasses on his face. They are too small to fit like a normal pair of glasses where they sit on the bridge of your nose, so he hooked them onto his cheeks, and the part that you're SUPPOSED to look through were at his mouth. It's the funniest thing!

Winter is back

We went from 70 degrees on Monday to 35 degrees today. Winter is back. We are supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow starting tomorrow afternoon. Can't say that I'm surprised. Hopefully my Tulips don't freez to death. I will be very bummed! Not very much has been going on here.

Robin's Back!

I was so excited today to see my first Robin of the year. Now I really know that Spring is about here. It was a really nice day today. Got to 56 degrees and for most of the afternoon it was sunny! My tulips are starting to come up in my flower beds too. I hoe it's not too early. This is the first year of having anything like that in my flower beds. Dylan was happy to be able to ride his bike today for a little bit. Hopefully tomorrow will be an even better day. They are saying it will get to 65, but there is a chance of rain. Hopefully it holds off until the evening. We don't really have anything planned for tomorrow except going to Sears to see if I can find a new quilt for our bed. Our is falling apart, and we have some gift cards from Christmas to spend. I wanted to wait until they got the new spring lines out. I hope we can find one to match the green paint in our room.

Spring on it's way?

I was watching the news this morning and the weather forecaster says that it may reach 60 degrees here on Saturday! Could Spring be here two weeks early? That would be wonderful. It is supposed to rain sometime during the day, but who cares! I just want to open my windows and get some fresh air in this house! What I'm NOT looking forward to in the mud and dirt getting tracked into the house. Since the garage was built the yard is in a terrible state. We'll probably have to put some sod down once the weather does change for good. Can't wait to let Dylan get outside and ride his Jeep that Santa Claus brought for him! Plus I'm looking forward to seeing how many of my tulip bulbs come up that I planted in the Fall. They are my favorite flower! Hopefully the squirrels didn't dig them all up and eat them! I will be VERY upset if they did!

3-2-06

Today was my lovely yearly visit to the gynecologist. That's always fun right? Actually I don't dread it as much as most people. I love my doctor. She makes me feel really comfortable. Looks like I'm healthy, so that's good. Of course except for my weight, which I am currently trying to decrease. I did lose ten pounds over the past year! Whoo-hoo! We had a nasty freezing rain storm last night. The main roads were pretty much clear, but the side roads are terrible. Dylan stayed with Grandpa while I went to the doctor, and when I went to pull in their driveway I slid right past the driveway. LOL Oops.
