Great News!

We got some really good news today. A couple weeks ago before my parents left for their vacation my Dad had his every three month scans to check on his cancer. We thought there might be some bad news this time because my Dad's back has been bothering him some. So immediately we think the cancer is growing. But today he went and got the results from the scans and everything is clear still!! We were VERY happy to get this news!!!

A night out

Last night Alton and I went bowling with two other couples. We didn't know this was going to happen, but about 10 o'clock the light went out and a bunch of disco balls and black lights came on. They called it cosmic bowling. It was pretty neat. We had never done that before. Then along the sides of the lanes they had lights going too. After that we went to a bar/restaurant called Mr. B's. They had a band. We had a late dinner and some dancing. Alton and another of our friends did most of the dancing. Of course the minute a country song cam on Alton was doing his country boot kicking dancing that he always does. People on the dance floor were snapping pictures of him with their cell phones. So if you happen to come across a man wearing an orange General Lee t-shirt on the internet anywhere, it may be him. Plus there were a "group" of men that were checking Alton out also. He wasn't too cool with that! LOL Dylan was with my Mom and Dad so we had to get home to get him in bed. We had a really good time!

About time!

Finally it has cooled off here!! Yesterday at this time it was almost 90 degrees already. Today it is 72 degrees. It's raining right now though. Still very humid, but it's still better then the past few days. Pretty soon I'm going to head over to my parents house and air their house out some since they are on vacation. Hopefully their birds haven't suffocated. The other day when I went there it was 94 degrees in the house. But it wasn't humid like it was outside.
